Teenager Postural Rehabitation

Posture is a position attain by body to carry out a work efficiently or at rest.

It is widely known posture is important to overall and long term health.synchronized movement is a result of conditioned & stengthened muscles,and their co-ordination.

When stooped or slouched muscle tries to maintain balance, then it may leads to fatigue,back pain,neck pain,cervicogenic headache & other problems.

If any of the muscle is tight or weak that creates an imbalance to posture statistics says in children posture is a cause of:-

  • 80% neck and backache
  • 56% teenager's spine is out of alignment & deformed due to chronic slumping.
  • A study discovered that 9% of children already had problem wih atleast 1 of the disc in their back.

Reasons can be:-

  • Poor Postural Habits
  • Heavy Bags
  • School Furniture
  • Stress
  • Anxiety

Nowadays students are not going out to play adapting the sedentary life style using computers, playing video games for long time (Doing indoor activities more). And attending 6-7 hours class regularly, sitting with wrong posture for long time. Most of the student don't eat balance diet and avoids physical activities. Due to this they can suffer from following problems.

  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Postural Problems
